A Chilean Parliamentary Delegation participated in the 136th Assembly of the IPU, which took place in Dhaka, Bangladesh, from 1 to 5 April 2017. Composed by the Honourable Senator Juan Pablo Letelier and the Honourable Deputies Denise Pascal (President of the Parliamentary Delegation) and Manuel Monsalve, the legislators attended a series of thematic meetings on Representative Democracy; Security and International Peace; Sustainable development; Human Rights and Humanitarian Law; Women in Politics; And in the field of Education, Science and Culture.
